| The acronym of P.A.T.H. guides a growing disciple in praying daily: | ||||
| Begin
in PRAISE. Think of every attribute of God you can, praising Him
for each one. Next, APOLOGIZE for the things in your life that have separated you from God or others in the last twenty-four hours. Then ask for and receive God's forgiveness. Take time to express your THANKS for all the "good" in your life, especially the gift of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and yes, even the struggles of life which have led to spiritual growth. End by asking for God's HELP, lifting up to God your requests for yourself, family, others, church, community, and world. |
